September 1st - For the record, we experienced a major storm system at sunset, very rare (at any time of year here) in that the entire sky was a solid gray overcast, along with light rain and some lightning, so we avoided getting out even though a walk in the rain would have been nice in what seemed more like a northern climate tonight. This continues to be very atypical weather with the typical afternoon thunderheads over the glades being replaced by major cloud cover. The entire last year has been very abnormal weather-wise here, even for an El Nino...
September 2nd, 2009 - Only two takes tonight, the camera was ok, but the mosquitoes were voracious...
September 2nd, 2009 - This was actually the best color of the sunset today, it faded from this point on...
September 4th, 2009 - Sunset after another really abnormally weird rainy day...
September 5th, 2009 - A glades thunderhead at sunset...
September 6th, 2009 - No sunset video, camera would not stay powered on, but for the record the sky was once again clouded-out with solid rain anyway, as it was rainy most of the day here, more like the November "transitional" weather than early September...
September 7th, 2009 - Finally looks a little more like August, but it is now September...
September 8th, 2009 - Congrats to the vid guy, he squeezed out two takes of tonight's sunset...
September 18th, 2009 - A "long dry spell", but we finally managed to capture one more video -- altho we missed the best part of the sunset, as it turned exquisitely awesome just a little later, but our clunky old camera just would not cooperate...
